[7]. Surah Al-Araaf [The Heights]
Ayat 190. But when He gave them a Salih (good in every aspect) child, they ascribed partners to Him (ALLAH ) in that which He has given to them. High be ALLAH, Exalted above all that they ascribe as partners to Him.
Ayat 191. Do they attribute as partners to ALLAH those who created nothing but they themselves are created?
Ayat 192. No help can they give them, nor can they help themselves.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Sufyan bin `Abdullah reported: I said, "O Messenger of Allah , tell me something of Islam which I will not ask anyone else about it.'' Messenger of Allah , said, "Say,`I believe in ALLAH ' and then be steadfast".
[Sahih Muslim Hadith # 38].
Lesson:
As mentioned above in Surah Al-Araaf Ayat 191. Do they attribute as partners to ALLAH those who created nothing but they themselves are created? ".
" Patient and steadfastness means adhering firmly to the injunctions of Islam (having firm faith), to act upon what is ordained and avoid what is prohibited, to perform dutifully orders in respect of obligations and what is regarded desirable and avoid what is unlawful. Faith is not a mere expression of Shahadah. The real Faith is one which is coupled with its actual practice because practice of religion is in fact the fruit of Faith. A tree which does not bear any fruit, has no value, similarly; faith becomes meaningless without practice. Patient and steadfastness is the mark of perfect Faith.
